It is time for the Mano a Mano Board of Directors election for the 2024-2026 cycle. The Nominations and Elections Committee is requesting that you respond to the attached call for nominations. Mano a Mano is a membership organization and needs the on-going, renewed support to both membership and leadership. This is your chance to support the work of trilingual interpreters and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities who require Spanish language services. As members and professionals in our field, you know the issues in your local communities, and that voice is needed in the process.
Please consider running for office by self nominating or nominating other members who you know can take this organization in the direction to represent critical issues of our communities and liaise with other national and international organizations! Attached you will find the “Call for Board Nominations” document that lists the positions up for reelection this year, as well as the eligibility requirements for each position. If you would like to nominate yourself or somenone else to a position, complete the nomination form (here), so that our committee members can review it and contact nominees to see if they accept. The nominations period will close at 11:59 pm ET on November 27th.
