Johanna Katz-Searls – Region I Representative

Johanna Katz-Searls is the current region 1 representative of Mano a Mano, Inc. She is a proud deaf native from Buenos Aires, Argentina who first moved to the United States to pursue a college degree. She got a BA in Communication Studies and Spanish, and an MA in International Development from Gallaudet University. She currently lives in Rochester, NY with her husband, where she works as a freelancer Deaf Multilingual Interpreter and as an Interpreter Education Specialist for Sorenson Communications. She also gives workshops and training to Latin American audiences. She is fluent in Spanish, English, ASL, LSA (Argentine Sign Language) and International Signs.
