Marina Martinez Cora awarded scholarship!

Marina Martinez Cora, a CODA and trilingual interpreter who was born and raised in Puerto Rico, was awarded a scholarship by Mano a Mano (in collaboration with RID) to attend the RID conference in Atlanta, GA from July 17-22, 2011.  The scholarship will cover the registration costs for the conference.  She was awarded the scholarship based on her stated desire to work in conjunction with Mano a Mano and interpreters in Puerto Rico to build a chapter of Mano a Mano on the island and to foster leadership that will help to address the needs of Puerto Rican interpreters.  We congratulate Marina and wish her all the best!
