Member at Large, Deaf: Roberto Sandoval
Roberto is a native of San Diego, California and currently lives in Los Angeles. He has served on numerous committees and boards of Latinx DDBDDHHLD (Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, Hard of Hearing and Late-Deafened) and sign language interpreter organizations. Roberto is a Past Chair of California Manos del Corazón and Board Member of National Deaf Interpreters (NDI). NDI is the new national professional Deaf interpreting organization. Roberto’s participation on the Mano a Mano Board marks the beginning of much collaboration between Deaf and hearing interpreters who work in Spanish-influenced settings. He has been involved with Mano a Mano since 2013.
Roberto served as Region IV representative 2013–2017. Roberto fue representante Region IV 2013–2017.
